RSS - PostsWell, I’ve finally done it. After 5 years of random ramblings on Xanga, my relationship with them has come to an end. This is where I’ll roost for now, though Christy and I will likely start a family blog either here or at new site.
Over the last 5 years, Xanga has evolved from a simple blogging to a full-blown social networking site. However, unlike MySpace in which inappropriate content can be banned by the community, Xanga has relaxed their content management standards to the point where anyone can post virtually anything they want to as long as they give it an appropriate rating. Because of this, a deep underground of filth has been steadily growing on Xanga.
It is because of this that I have regretfully decided to sever ties with Xanga. I do not want my children, family and friends to be exposed to all that Xanga has to offer. I just want a blog to call my own.
